I'm finished..

I just finished Last Rider's Call, book 2 of the Green Rider series by Kristen Britain. Amazingly good. Very cinematic-feeling. Emotionally involving and taxing. I loved the book, but I hate the way it ends. Well, hate's too strong, in a way. You see, it had closure to several of the plot threads, but a major one was deliberately left dangling there, and I don't know when she'll get the next book done. Ack.

I pray it's soon. Grab Green Rider and check it out. It's awesome. Then, come back and read Last Rider's Call.

Endings happen all the time.. the important part is what to do about them.

So, today was uneventful. I woke up early, read some web pages, and went back to sleep until 1pm. I talked briefly to Stephen, and found out we're not gaming until the Saturday after this coming one. Then, I went to Charles' and hung out with Melissa and him. Now, I'm about to go to sleep, and I work tomorrow morning.

I need to take the time this week to make some new icons. These are getting a little threadbare. I think I'm going to do one for Negima Rurouni Kenshin, one for Sailor Moon, one for RPGs, and possibly a couple that I haven't thought of yet. Hopefully, they won't suck.

Something purple within 5 feet of you: the blade on Mace Windu's lightsaber. I have my Star Wars Jedi figures out, and the BMF himself is the only one with a purple lightsaber. (To hell with the blades they came with. I'm just geeky enough to make the blade color match the movies. :) )
