Tom Cruise stole my sword

I finished A Caress of Twilight last night. Great book. I'm just glad I bought Seduced by Moonlight at the same time. :)

I woke up around 5am, and sat up for a couple of hours, since that's when I usually get ready for work.I went back to sleep, and dreamed. What I remember of it was that a friend and I were coming back from Charles' wedding, and stopped at a rest stop. I found the place totally vandalized, and knew my enemy(?) was nearby. I also remember realizing that my sword was gone, and then I saw my enemy. They looked like a friend I know, but I knew it was Tom Cruise; or, the face changed INTO that of Tom Cruise's. He was wielding my sword: A Zweihander over eight feet long. Two feet of hilt, and six deadly feet of blade. And he was waving it around like it weighed nothing. *Shudder*

That's when my mom woke me up, and told me that Kroger was on the phone. I answered their question, and then decided to get on up. I called Charles, and we're going to hang out today. We might hang out tomorrow, too. Time will tell, eh?

Oh, wow, what a day.

I went to Charles', and had a breakfast of eggs, waffles, and Mexican coffee. We then went to their travel agency to get the check for money that was put into a fund for their honeymoon. Afterward, we hit David's Bridal for a wedding gown preservation kit. Then, it was off to Target, to get a toaster oven and two shelves for his wife's shot glass collection. At Bed Bath & Beyond, we snagged those items off of their registry that they didn't receive, courtesy of a gift card one of the guests brought. I also got three pillar candle holders, and a little jar for my mom. ("It's so cute!" - Mom)

After that, it was nearly five in the afternoon, and we were hungry. He suggested cooking out, and so we did. A quick trip to Schnuck's had us food for two ribeye steaks, two salads, two baked potatoes, a six pack of Michelob Ultra. and some caramel rolls for dessert. (The latter was consumed with some more Mexican coffee.)

We arranged some wedding stuff on the wall, put up the shelves, and then called it a night. I'm beat, and I have to work tomorrow. Ack. Oh well, today was a blast, and therefore, was more than worth it. :)
