[I shouldn't update on Saturdays, no one ever comments on my posts when I post on Saturdays. At least, they don't comment often.]

Okay.. I haven't updated since Thursday Wednesday, I think. Well, I'm going to assume that's when I last updated. Thursday was horrible. If a day could be a bully, for me it was Thursday the 12th. I had the worst luck with that day. Nothing went right. I was glad it was over.

Friday. What a Friday! It was the 13th, but the day went pretty well, except for a little incident involivng me locking my keys in my car. Fortunately, Kevin dropped off my spare for me. (That's a friend for ya! I) The schedule got done quickly and, I think, properly. Everything seemed to go well.

When I was doing my final office count, I learned that my income tax refund had hit my bank account. Huzzah! I went to Kevin's Attic, and bought D&D3.5's Unearthed Arcana, as well as the board game, Settlers of Catan, since Brad said it was a good game. (We need more good board games.) While there, I spent a little while talking to Cynthia, who actually remembered my name. That sounds promising, right? I learned she has to do the CCG stuff up there. Perhaps I *SHOULD* dig out my Magic cards....

I picked Scott up, since he wanted to hang out. We fixed his Shadowrun character, and made it a LOT deadlier. For those who know Shadowrun out there, Scott's human street samurai has retractable hand razors that do 11M real damage. That 11, folks, is the number you have to roll on a d6 to resist the hit.* The "M" just means that you take a moderate hit. Much better than it was, if I do say so myself. :)

My parents came back from Wal-mart, and I helped bring in the groceries. At some point during that, my mood went south, and I felt bad. Scott and I went to Brad's to see if he was home, but he wasn't. Since he wasn't, I decided to go home and get some rest. I dropped Scott off with another friend of his, since Scott didn't want to go home yet.

I didn't sleep immediately, though. Instead, Aron and I finished watching Neverwhere. Then, I ordered a wedding gift for Charles and Melissa from Bed Bath & Beyond. I love that site. :) Then, I ordered Wytches, The Beast with Two Backs, and Supernature by Inkubus Sukkubus. I discovered that band the other day because of a friend (Wave, you!!), and I'm totally enamored. Great stuff. Absolutely great. Then I crashed, and crash hard I did.

Now, my bed is made, my chair is together, and I'm properly tired. I have Shadowrun tomorrow, as well as a five-day work week beginning tomorrow. Next Saturday is Charles' bachelor party. I hope I survive it.

* - If you roll a 6, you get to reroll, and add it to the earlier roll(s). This is called the "Rule of Six". For example, if you have to get a Target Number of 15, you'd have to roll a d6, get a 6, reroll the d6, get another 6, reroll the d6 again, and get at least a 3. This is aided by the fact that you roll multiples of dice. It's easier than I made it sound, really. :)
