I had a fun time this morning. On my way into work, I saw what I believe to be Saturn, since it wasn't twinkling. Then, when I was almost there, I realized that I saw another light in the sky. This one was JUPITER!! Woohoo!! Aside from Venus and Mars, I've seen all of the normal planets. From Uranus out, I am going to HAVE to have a telescope to see them. Still, that's next on the agenda. (Right behind getting in some early morning viewing of Jupiter to hopefully catch the Galilean moons.
Work went well today. I had some doughnuts, and they carried me all day. It was a good thing, too, since I got screwed on time. The person who was supposed to come in for Guest Care at 10am couldn't. So, without a second thought, someone (not a manager or my CSM) decided that I could run Guest Care from 8am until 1230pm, with no one to cover a break. Well, when Joyce got there, I got her to cover a break for me. That was a good thing, too, since I didn't get any more rest that day.
At 1230pm, when my relief was supposed to show, she walked in. However, she didn't have her shirt, and the company just issued new shirts, with the warning, "If you forget your shirt, you will have to go home and get it. We're not supplying you with a replacement." So, she didn't show back up until 115pm. By this time, Joyce had told me to just leave at 2pm.
After calculating the Sales & Hours for Labor Day for our store, I came home. I dozed for a while in front of my computer. (I really need to sleep more at night!!) Now, I'm going to head over to Brad's to hang out for a while tonight. If Aron doesn't hurry up, I'm going to leave him. Just because he's helping my dad, he thinks I should wait on him. Sheesh!! What arrogance!! :)
