Well, after last week's deluge of posts, I have slipped back to a number that's a little more like me. *sigh* And I was doing so well, too.
Sunday... Oh yeah, I've already posted about that.
Monday, I didn't do a whole lot, I.. Oh, I posted about the first half of that day, too. Ah! That's where I left off.
I finished cleaning my room, fixing my air conditioner brace, and taking a shower. I was getting ready to go get my glasses from where I (accidently) left them in the bathroom. I opened the door, and who did I see? A dark splotch. Upon retrieving my glasses, though, I realized that it was none other than Sabrina, a girl who grew up down the street from me. Her mom and my mom are best friends or something. Weird, I swear. :) Anyway, as kids on the same street often do, we played together for years. I hadn't seen her in at least 15 years. Talk about shocks. :) She introduced me to her daughter, Dallas.
Dallas was precious. She talked constantly, and was quite articulate to boot. I was a little concerned when she wanted to look at my Forgotten Realms Campaign Book, but momma fixed that. We talked for about 15 minutes or so, during which she reminded me of all the things we did when we were little. She also mentioned she had pictures. Those I want to see. :)
After Sabrina left, Aron and I went to Rick's for a little Magic playing. I tested out my Blue/Green/Black Thallid/Bounce deck. It didn't exactly work as I envisioned, but it didn't do badly, either. It's FUN. I forgot how much I totally loved playing with Thallids. I need to get some Elvish Farmers for that deck. They'll combo well with both the Thallids and the Timberwatch Elves (2G, 1/2, T: Target creature gets +X/+X until end of turn, where X is the number of Elves in play.). Of course, I specifically built this deck for multiplayer, and as such, it's 75 cards. That's the biggest deck I've built in a long time. I think the Crazy ClassiC Power was the last deck near that size. However, I'm already coming up with ideas to thin it down and streamline the concept. Woot!
Today, ... Well, today deserves its own post. You'll see soon enough.
