This morning, I read my own LJ from October through December 2007. Then LJ crashed. I said I'd get up and do some things. Instead, I checked to see if LJ had come back up (after folding a little laundry).
Well, LiveJournal started working again, and I spent an hour reading 2008. 2008 was very interesting for me, in that I can tell 1) I hit rock bottom and 2) the changes at the beginning of that year are what led me to where I am now: more confident, happier, more financially stable, doing work I actually enjoy, and living alone (and not bothered about it).
I want no more 2008s, though, thanks. Let's just move on to more 1987s and 2000s (both banner years for me). :)
