Yes, I got it. I picked up Monster Manual II from Comics 'n' Collectibles today. I've paged through it once, and wow, is it nice. I saw several critters I could see myself using in a game. Templates? Oh yeah, we have the Death Knight back! :) (I am a fan of one specific death knight - Lord Soth, from Dragonlance. He personifies what a Death Knight is to me.)

We're supposed to do our first Everquest d20 RPG tonight, but Tom's got a migraine, I've become edgy, Stephen seems uneasy with my edginess, and my brother is insanely superstitious about Friday the 13th. Weird, I know. Of course, talk is of going to Hooter's after the game, and frankly, that sounds rather nice, since I could go for some hot wings and beer.

I dunno.. I'm sitting here updating because my car's tires are still messed up from when I got it back. I meant to replace them today, but I was so tired, and you all know what it's like to wait on them to give you new tires. Last time, I got through a third of Robert Jordan's The Path of Daggers. I'll do it tomorrow. Also,if I have time, I'm getting my hair cut. I'm tired of this shag. I am really beginning to look goofy.

After that, it's my friend Charles' birthday party at his place.. His birthday was the 11th. (Don't mention it, I know already.)

Oh well, here's something of an update. Enjoy. :)

If you want to make your d20 Everquest game as faithful to the real Everquest game as possible, you have to kill nothing but giant rats for the first three weeks. Occasionally you should have a town guard walk around saying "Time to die, a giant rat."

And instruct players to say "sow plz" and "has ne1 seen my corpse?" at random. Trust me, it'll be just like the real thing :)

Funny thing, Everquest d20.

FOr about 15 minutes, I was responding to questions, and making comments, fully 20-50 seconds behind everyone. Granted, it was kinda lame, but everyone had a decent laugh (just decent - it wasn't that good! :) ).

On a more serious note, my GM decided this would be a great way to resurrect all the characters he ever played on EQ online. *rolls eyes* I can appreciate it, and I hope that he got it out of his system this week.

I made a point to kill my character. I dunno. I lost interest REALLY quickly. I also drank Big K and Citrus Drop REALLY fast. Of course, I don't regret it, so perhaps Everquest isn't really for me. (I had a hard time coming up with a character in the first place, and never got attached to him.) I'll see if I can think of something else before next week.
