It's cold out there, but the sky is clear for the first time in December! (Well, there was this one night, but it was hazy.) So, what did I do? Threw on my coat, grabbed my telescopes, and ran up the hill. :) Of course, this was after I bolted out the front door, and saw Venus!!! Woot! Now, I have only to see Neptune, Pluto, and Mercury. Of those, Pluto is impossible with the scopes I have access to right now (magnitude 13.9).

Anyway, Aron and I checked out the Pleiades, Polaris, and Saturn (albeit briefly - the scope hadn't cooled enough yet, and the view was foggy-ish).

Today at work wasn't bad, and I got farther along in Night of Blood. Oh man, is that thing getting GOOD. It might very well affect my campiagn, it's so fun to read. I got home to find that the D&D Box Set I won on eBay had arrived. * content sigh* It was just like I remembered. The d20 that was included with it was orange with black numerals, just like my original one, too. I have new dice for the game on Sunday. :) (Shame I have to wait until January to test them out in a real RPG situation.)

Well, I'm going to clean up, and then go to bed. I need more sleep. And, I need to read more in Night of Blood.

Have you been posting less, or have I been over inundated by other postings and you just seem smaller by comparison?

I find myself missing more of your life. I'm such a voyeur of life. I'm not trying to be all weird toward you. :)

I believe that I have been posting less. It happens to me every so often. I just get tired of doing 2-5 posts a day, and recap everything in a single post.

The less-posting issue is also aggravated by my decision to not waste ALL afternoon sitting in front of my computer. (For example, I baked a cake today. See my post.)

That's okay. It's healthy not to be at the computer all day. Though, soon I'll have Cable Internet. I'm going to need about a 24 hour romp straight through to get it out of my system. *grin*

Yes. Broadband is awesome. I started work at Stream in August of 1999. As soon as I saw how fast RoadRunner was (our provider here), we had cable installed for the home computer inside two weeks.

Back in those days, though, there wasn't a lot of capping going on, so it was *FAST*. (It's still pretty good now, but NOTHING like it was.)

Feel free to add me to your AIM/MSN/ICQ buddy list, especially if you're going to have a home connection. The info's on my info page.
