So, this is my first day off since last Tuesday, and after all of the "work, move, sleep, work, move, sleep" of the past five days, I'm thrilled that I'm free to rest a bit today.
Not that I'm going to, of course. Well, a bit, at least. I'm going to go back to the apartment, and load up all of my food (dry and cold). I think we're going to have something we bought last night, but it'll be nice to have more options. Clearly, C has been buying meal to meal since he's been on his own, and I like being able to eat without going to the grocery store. :)
I also should box up my bookshelves while I'm over there, as they need to be moved tomorrow or a little later in the week. I'm loaning Scott one of them, so he can put out his books, and the other three are going to go into the dining room area, to help fill it out (and because my room won't hold 'em :( ). This does mean that I have to again choose what books go into storage, but I *think* that, with my decision to cut back on what RPG books I have out, I'll free up one bookshelf just by boxing those all up.
So far today, though, I've not done a lot. I've changed my bedsheets (I just slapped the old ones on when I got the bed over here), shredded some personal info that I didn't want going into the apartment complex's public dumpster, and finally started a load of laundry. OMG! We have a real washing machine! At the apartment, I could fit 3 pairs of jeans per load. Over here, I put 7, and I didn't even pack it tight to do so. Bigger loads = fewer loads = less of a chance of me choosing to ignore laundry as long as possible.
Well, I'm gonna finish putting away some clean socks, and then it's time to shower and head over to the apartment. Gotta be back, after all, in time to make dinner. :)
