So, for the second night running, I've had extensive HP-related dreams. As in, non-stop Harry Potter dreams all night long. Sadly, I cannot remember any details at all when I wake up. I recall JUST enough to know that I was running around with Harry, the Weasleys, and Hermione (or some combination thereof). Also ironically, I've been waking up at 415, 430, and 445 almost exactly.
I imagine that the attraction of Harry Potter -- at least why I'm so obsessed with it -- is that it's very much a happily ever after story, despite some of the events in the later books. It's too early -- and I have work -- for me to get too philosophical about it (and depressed as a result), but I notice that it's very important to me that Harry finds someone. Same as it is with Belgarion when I read Eddings' books. Perhaps I'm externalizing my own desires?
Oh well, I just heard my roommate's alarm, so I better hit the shower before he takes over the bathroom... Later, folks.
EDIT: This is a reminder to myself to make a post about my thoughts this morning about embarrassment, love, and finding someone. No time now.
