...I'll still say I love you. *snicker*
First of all, it's amazing how much help a good night's sleep does for one's attitude. I could have slept longer, but I have to work 6a-3p today. Second, I'm going to start my book back up. I am not skipping out on days 21-40. I've already gotten farther than I did last time. I just need to stay with it.

I haven't done MUCH lately. I went and saw Goblet of Fire on Saturday with [livejournal.com profile] andric and [livejournal.com profile] storm21. They'd never met, so I got to introduce them. Boy, did they hit it off, and immediately begin ganging up on me! (Eep!) After, we all had O'Charley's.

Sadly, I was disappointed in this Harry Potter film. I've loved the others, but this one -- perhaps because it's based on my favorite book in the series -- seemed disjointed and poorly edited. Yeah, that's the big thing. I actually enjoyed each individual scene for the most part. I thought Dumbledore's actor was a little too friendly-and-touchy for how I remember Dumbledore, and I thought that Voldemort was too.... flippant. I expected someone to talk a little more sinister than he did.  Oh well. It's still light years ahead of The Phantom Menace. :)

Finally, before I take off to work, don't forget that this Friday is Buy Nothing Day 2005!!

Well, today wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be. Of course, I got off work at 3pm. (I figure grocery stores are hitting their stride right now, though.) Things went more or less smoothly. I had my lunch on time. I tried my CSM's way of doing the morning stuff, and learned that it was MUCH more efficient. Everyone showed up, even if some were late.

Coming home, I ran into almost no traffic, and the weather was quite nice, so I drove with my windows down, singing (badly) along with my heavy metal music. I logged about 2.5 hours on WoW tonight, mainly making things to sell, helping a guild mate who'd been robbed, and -- most importantly -- talking to my brother in PA.  I've logged off for the evening, and I plan on reading as much of Knife of Dreams as I can, before I go to sleep. And I'm almost done, so that's good. Next up is A Feast for Crows, by George R. R. Martin. I can't wait.

I've calmed down quite a bit from my angsty-moody post of last night. Things are a little more in focus, and things also don't seem so important.

Now, I'm going to get my butt in bed, because I have to work tomorrow, so that you lazy folks can run to the store and get your cranberry sauce, brown gravy mix, or that six-pack of beer (Hey, there ARE two football games tomorrow too!!).

Happy Thanksgiving to you all.

One thing I forgot to mention in the last post: I spent a good deal of Monday talking to [livejournal.com profile] lordreaibn. Apparently, he is beginning to feel the urge to run a/play in a tabletop game of D&D again. We got to talking, and I quickly realized what I wanted to do for a character for this as-yet-unofficial new campaign.

The best part is that Tedros Shuian, my new character, started on his adventuring path because of Aric. I'm rereading Aric's exploits tonight, so that I know where I stand in the world, and can write a suitable backstory for him.

Don't worry I'll regale you with it when I get it done. :)
