- ...here is what I am thankful for:
- Being alive to see another Thanksgiving.
- Having a steady job in an uncertain market.
- Having a car that, no matter how bad the state of disrepair, will still give me 30 mpg.
- All of my friends and family, including you LJ folks and the WoW folks.
- Being able to look back at this year, and recognize that I've matured.
- Having a roof over my head, even if it's not mine.

I'm thankful that today's over. Despite the ease with which I've gotten through Thanksgiving in years past, something about today royally kicked my butt. I was exhausted when I came in from work, and barely felt up to showering and eating. I then watched Madagascar, which is hilarious, and felt better, if no less tired.
I have been debating about whether to read more of Knife of Dreams or to work on my new character concept for
lordreaibn's tentative game, but I figure that if I am that uncertain, I should just go to sleep instead. I can use the rest, that's for sure.
INTERLUDE: I just found out that the closer on Friday night is also the opener on Saturday. While that's acceptable at some places, it's not here in Kroger-land. Fortunately, I think we have an idea to fix it. Now, if that other employee will just agree to do it. *crosses fingers*
Okay.. We'll find out about that tomorrow. Now, I must get some sleep, or read, or work on my character. I'm not particular right now, though sleep sounds like the best idea.
