Woot! Thank you,
andric, for telling me that the ISS will be visible from Memphis, TN, tonight at 7pm for about 4 minutes. I was AFK, and didn't get back until about 2 minutes after ya signed off.
Remember, folks, Northern Sky. *runs off to my bookmarked NASA site for ISS visibiility*
Hmm.. I just checked NASA's site for ISS visibility, and it lists 732pm*, though the maximum elevation is 55°. (Which is nice. If you know where Polaris, the North Star, is, then you know how far up 35° is.) At any rate, folks, grab your binoculars (don't bother with telescopes), and enjoy!
* - I wasn't doubting you, ma'am, but I wanted to know exactly where to look, beyond "north sky". (You know me and space.) Besides, it gave me an excuse to hit that page, which I haven't done in a while. I'm glad I checked, though. (I will still look at 7pm, just in case. :))
