...I was right about my day.
After the incident with my cereal and my tea this morning, it just got better. *rolls eyes*
( It isn't very pretty. You've been warned. )
I got home, and played a little World of Warcraft, but soon lost interest, because I am tired. I went and got the mail, because I was expecting a CD that I won on eBay. In a happy aside, I got $20 of the $30 back. My mom found it. So, things weren't really as bad as they originally seemed.
Checking my mailbox, I found the CD I was looking for (Epica's 2005 release, "Consign to Oblivion"), and an unexpected (yet not completely unexpected) surprise: Meimei sent me the postcard from Malaysia that she promised! It features a downright beautiful sunset pic on "the Perak River, where the town of Teluk Intan stands on its banks. Located 170 km north of Kuala Lampur, Teluk Intan means 'Diamond Bay.'" That put a smile on my face, for sure. It was one of the brightest spots of my day. Heck, with what happened with the CD, it *IS* the brightest spot of my day. (And to answer your question, Meimei, no, I've not yet gotten back into it yet. Gomen.)
"Anthony, what happened to the CD? You got in the one you wanted, right?"
( Yes, I got the CD I wanted, but... )
Tomorrow will be better. I know it.
