I have spent the whole day doing nothing but listening to heavy metal, adding mp3s to my computer (7.5 gigs worth!), planning out a sci-fi playlist for tomorrow's game, and reading the new World of Darkness book. The music's good, the playlist is done, and I am beginning to think that I am going to read all of my WoD material, because that is the next game I would like to run. (Assuming that I understand the rules, and can talk the guys into joining.)
I was almost done for the evening, though, and I checked my E-mail. Sadly, Guardians of Order ran into another problem with their signed & numbered limited deluxe edition of the "A Game of Thrones" RPG. Since I'm getting a hand-signed copy from GRRM himself, I apparently will have to wait until he gets back from a month-long vacation before I receive it. The good news? I'm getting a PDF copy of it for free, so I get to read it before the book finally arrives. (This also helps preserve my special copy.)
Now, I must sleep, for I work 6a-3p tomorrow, doing payroll. If you can believe it, they have someone scheduled to do accounting in the morning, so I'm "free" to get my payroll stuff done in a leisurely manner. (Well, don't tell them that, but it'll be nice not to have to worry about rushing.) I may skip my lunch, though, since we start our game at 3pm. *shrug* I'll decide. If nothing else, I'll bring a shirt with me, and change when I get there.
