Charles and I watched Reign of Fire last night. Wow, that was a good movie. (Not high art, but good nonetheless.) Unfortunately, something died in Charles's backyard, and we didn't noticed it until Foxy, one of his dogs, begain to ROLL AROUND IN IT. We had to give her a bath right then and there, because it was a powerful enough stink that you couldn't go near her. We managed to get her clean enough, though, and I went home.
On the way, I learned the hard way that I'm allergic to animal dander. (I couldn't breathe without coughing, and my nose stopped right up.) Clean animals aren't a big deal. Dirty houses are. Apparently, helping to clean the animals in question is a big deal, too. I showered, and was fine after that, but I better be careful from now on.
Today, I woke up at 10am, and spent most of the day cleaning my desk area, getting it more "mature" than it was. Sure, there are still knickknacks around it, but it's a lot more organized, clean, and it presents a better image of what I want to be. Of course, this means I didn't leave my house, so my hair hasn't been cut yet. That will just have to wait until Saturday morning, or perhaps Tuesday morning if Jo isn't there to cut my hair.
I've just finished a six hour WoW session, playing every character just a little bit, but actually levelling Runningstar from 21 to 22. I have work from 6a-3p tomorrow, plus I have an air conditioner to tote after work, so I'm going to bed now, and hoping that it'll be enough sleep. Also, tomorrow is the first day I work with Jennifer since I was stood up on Tuesday, so I'll know what happened by the time I get home. (I'm going to assume, if she doesn't say ANYTHING about it, that she did it on purpose, and isn't interested in a relationship like I thought she was. In which case, c'est la vie.)
