I swear, the way I keep running into Sunday morning, you'd think it comes once a week... :)
So, I get to do payroll today. That's not too terrible, since I didn't do it last week (and to be fair, it was a mess last week, that I am going to have to fix today). I just don't like getting up early on Sunday. Yet, I must, if I want to continue playing D&D. I'm sure that I could sleep in on Sundays if I didn't do payroll, because I would have almost every single Sunday afternoon (ick!).
Speaking of D&D, we're not playing this week.
nyminal's (should be named Coldie, but eh..) folks are still in town, so there won't be a game. Since I am going to end the campaign in November before Thanksgiving (because we always have trouble picking a game back up in January), there are only 22 sessions left. Possibly 21, if his folks are in town for Labor Day (a good chance, IMO). I'm going to plan on 20 total sessions remaining. That way, we have two "rain dates". One is most likely going to get used for Labor Day, and that gives us one other day in which we miss.
Now, that I know how many sessions I have left, and what level my players are, it's time to plot out the rest of the campaign. Will they reach level 20? Not very likely, though high teens might not be unreasonable. Will they go through the Temple of Elemental Evil (which was the idea at campaign's start)? Nope. They're too far along now for it to be a viable idea. They're about level 8, and RttToEE runs from levels 4 to 14.
Oh well, time to run to work. See y'all this afternoon, briefly, before I begin playing World of Warcraft again. (Remember, I play "Aricseles" and "Jazeela" on Scarlet Crusade, "Sluggy" on Thunderlord, and "Haydon" on Azjol-Nerub. Just send me a tell, and tell me who you are.)
