..because I wait until the last minute to post.
Nothing really happened today, though I did pay ALL of my bills, so I'm caught up for like, two weeks. :) (So much for saving all that money for a rainy day. :-P)
I went shopping, too. I found out about the new Laurel K. Hamilton "Merry Gentry" novel. Sure, her work is NC-17. Sure, it's not high art. But you know what? It's 1) modern-day fantasy that, 2) deals with the fey, and 3) gives me a thrill to read in public. :) That's good enough.
In other news, I've seesawed back the other way again. Today, I picked up New Spring: the Novel by Robert Jordan. I have Crossroads of Twilight in audiobook on my iPod, too. Basically, someone sent me a link to someone's dissertation on why the books are still okay, and, well, it made sense. I'll find the link if anyone's interested.
So, I work 6-3 tomorrow, and I have the Forgotten Realms game tomorrow evening. It should be cool, but I have to get my character on paper before then. :(
Good night, folks.
