Where does the time go?!

I mean, it's already Wednesday? How can that be? *sighs* Oh well, that's life, I suppose.

I have work today from 8a-5p, working upstairs for the zone manager. As I may have mentioned in yesterday's post, I'm supposed to have someone explain in crystal clear detail what I'm supposed to be doing up there. It's not that I can't think on my own, but rather that I'm not totally clear on what they're expecting, and I get horribly nervous when I'm unsure about anything.

Girl Scout Reduced Fat Lemon Coolers cookies are the devil!! I got my order from my supplier* today, and decided that I would try them, since I'd not yet done so. (My mom had ordered a box, so I ordered one too, thinking they couldn't be all that bad.) Well, I finally stopped myself from eating any more, after I'd eaten half the box in twenty minutes. Damn.

In other news, I now know what it is I need to do when I work for the Zone Manager, so I feel great, and I'm looking forward to working there next week.

Finally, aside from the half a box, I've only had lunch, which consisted of baby carrots, au gratin potatoes, and a roll. Yay for Ash Wednesday. :) I'm going to see if I can find something around here that I can eat for dinner. I can't have meat, so most of what I usually eat is out. (For the record, this feels important to me, so I am going to do it. I am aware that not all Christian denominations practice Lent, nor am I trying to step on the toes of those that practice it stringently. I am doing this for me. kthxbye...)

* - Our best -- and nearly most regular -- customer is a mother in a Girl Scout troop. In years past, she's sold 'em in front of the store. This year, though, she took orders ahead of time. I think I'm going to get some more. I like what I've had. :)

Five Thousand, Sixty-Five

...that's the total number of mp3s, m4as, and m4ps on my system right now. Total size? Somewhere in the neighborhood of 28GBs. All for my iPod. I'm sorting it out right now, and fixing any naming scheme issues as they come up. I hope to have it all figured out by Sunday. My tentative plan now is to have a playlist ready to go for the game, and USE music during the game, to enrich the mood. No matter what, though, I'm probably going to use the FFVII after-fight celebration music for the ends of combat. Mainly because we do it now.. :)
