Well, I was off today, so I slept in, doing nothing at all. *music stops suddenly* Uhh, okay. That was the plan, anyway.
I wound up waking up at 730am, and I decided to clean the filter in my air conditioner. Next, I was going to straighten up my bedside table. Eventually, it dissolved into me reseating my bed on the blocks I use for a bed stand, and doing a full cleaning job on my room. I took a nap a little later, but it was still clean when I woke up again. Cool, I wasn't dreaming.
I went to Comic Cellar, and picked up Whispers of the Vampire's Blade, an Eberron adventure that was supposed to have come out yesterday, but Jason's helper at the store "couldn't open" the box to get my copy out. (A quick talk with Jason as I was leaving Comic Cellar - and as he was arriving - revealed that the helper was SUPPOSED to have pulled it out and sold it to me.) I came home, and typed up a list of the monsters in Monster Manual III. Rather nice collection of monsters, not only because more than half of them have information on where to put them in Eberron. I approve. :)
Of course, I was exhausted by the time I was done, so I went to bed, and slept for a couple of hours. I figured, "Hey! I have to get up for work in 9 hours, so if I get an extra hour, that's not going to hurt anything is it?" And, of course, if I woke up, I'd still have a nice amount of sleep to tide me over until I went back to sleep later.
True to form, I woke up around two hours after I laid down. I decided to get some dinner, and while I was eating said dinner, I ran across one of the coolest things I've had the fortune to see in a very long time. On October 19, this DVD will be released. I have ALWAYS been a fan of Tom & Jerry. With this DVD, I get their firsrt 40 adventures, before the 1960s, which I refer to as "the dark times." I was never fond of the "feel" of the 60s-era cartoons, be they Tom & Jerry or even Looney Tunes.
Oh well, I'll live. :) This Tuesday, I get the original Star Wars Trilogy, and in a month, I get Tom & Jerry. Excellent!
