First of all, before I forget: Winamp 5 kicks butt! I held onto Winamp 2.9 for everything I was woth, but I upgraded the other day to version 5. Listening to Blackmore's Night, I can hear things that I never did before, and it's not because my ears are clean now. :) I think that they improved the equalizer a great deal. It sounds so damn good that I feel euphoric just listening to Candace Night singing. (Not that it took much before Winamp 5, but it's even easier now. :) )

So. Work. Today. Parte the Seconde. AAAAAAAAAAARRRRRGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!
Yeah, it was that bad. Let's see. To begin, we have to go back to last night. I got a call from Kathy, the closing accounting person. Apparently, they had no receipt paper. (I was thinking, "Uhh, what am I supposed to do about this? I'm at home!") I asked if they had told Greg (Fowler, our Co-Manager, who was on duty), and was informed that they never got in touch with him, though they did page him. I told Kathy to write "receipt paper" on the list of things that needed to be ordered on our whiteboard in the back, and asked to speak to Greg.
Well, Greg said that we had to have paper. He claimed that the Front End people had been messaging him all night (which I believe), and that they just didn't know where to look. Sadly, that wasn't the case. First thing this morning, I had to call another store, and ask to borrow some receipt paper. Then, I got to drive there, and get it. That was one good thing about today. See, I learned that Lynn Paul, the delightful checker who gave me a vintage Empire Strikes Back-era Yoda (still in package), was working there.
Anyway, to continue the day, I thought that I had all day to do the schedule. Oh no, I didn't. While I was expected to get the schedule done today, I was still fucking supposed to run Guest Care all morning. When Joyce comes in, she gets all day. Why am I different? I rarely do the schedule, so I think I should be allotted at least the normal time to do it. Anyway, needless to say, I didn't get it started properly today.
Things got busy, and I never fully got started, though I worked through lunch trying to do so. (I took my lunch, but never actually sat down and forgot about work. Dammit.)
So, work ended, and I came home, Smirnoff Ices (2-24 oz) in hand, planning to work on the schedule here. Know what? I'm not gonna do it. In the time it took to do this post (about 30 minutes or so), I finished both of them AND myfreedom French bread pizza. I'm full, buzzing hard as hell, and ready to watch a comedy. So, without further ado, I'm gonna watch The Ladies' Man.
Yeah.... That's cool. :)
