Catharsis and all that..

Well, I have to get up for work in about five hours, and here I am, unable to sleep. I napped briefly this afternoon for a couple of hours, so I shouldn't be hurting too badly. Still, why am I up at this hour?

I got to thinking about Rick again. Tomorrow will be the two month mark since I, or anyone in our immediate group of mutual friends, has seen or heard from him. Even when he wouldn't come by, he'd call us to see how things were going. Even when he was living in New York. This has me worried. I don't know where he or his wife and kid are, if they're alright, and why I haven't heard from him.

Rick's just about my best bud on the planet. I don't know where he is. This really sucks. Wednesday is his daughter's birthday, and Thursday is his.
