I need more hours in the day, or days in the week.
Despite my desire to unload all of my RPG stuff that I'm not interested in using anymore, I find myself going back, and changing my opinion on some of it. Today's examples are my Kingdoms of Kalamar stuff (really detailed generic setting), and Dragonlance (classic setting).
I found a copy of Salt & Sea Dogs online, and it's got the perfect info for me to run a seafaring KoK campaign set in Renaaria Bay. It's got info on various types of ships, naval combat, weather hazards, and information specific to the world about where pirates and such lurk. Best of all, it has a chapter on creating ships from scratch, which includes templates for them (ghost ships, anyone?).
Then, I began reading the Dragonlance Wizards.com message board. I do like the setting, and I could see myself running a game set there. I guess I just don't have time to do all that I'd like with it, and since it has so much history, navigating the campaign would be significantly difficult. The Bestiary of Krynn is out now, and includes lots of monsters I'd love to have access to again. (That I haven't seen since the days of the Time of the Dragon boxed set.)
Of course, I would like to pick my Silver Marches game back up, and run it to level 20 or so, not to mention how I'm salivating just thiniking about running an Eberron campaign.
That's four different campaigns. To recap...
EDIT: I'm not even going to get into PlaneScape, which is the best damn setting I've ever seen. (I'd only run it 2e, though.)
EDIT 2: 999 posts as of this one, folks!
