I woke up on time today, but managed to be late anyway, because I was reading a couple of LJ Comments before I left. Dang it! Oh well. I'll do better tomorrow. *snicker* I went to lunch today at 10am, which, even though it's better than halfway through my shift (5a-2p), is an hour earlier than I usually go. Good thing I went, though. I got back, started to pull the coke machines, and our 7-8 month pregnant guest care clerk had to leave. She is a diabetic, and they're having trouble keeping her blood sugar stabilized. I hope she and her child are okay.
So, good and bad. Bad that I didn't get my work done today, but it's good that I didn't have to do anything but sit in guest care until I left. On the way home, I picked up another two pairs of jeans, and new boots. Our washer died today, and I needed to do laundry. This is my attempt to weather the storm until I can do laundry. And my boots were nearly two years old, and LOOKED it. (To give you an idea, I got them for my trip to Origins 2001 in June of that year.) These new ones are kicking my butt, but they're in one piece. :)
I am going to be working on another version of my ranger. Don't worry, it's more of a clean-up and revision than a rewrite. I have gotten some great input from
lordreaibn,
mfsfreak, and especially
randomdenial00. Thanks guys, this is why I posted it here. I wanted feedback.
Now, to clean that Ranger up, post it, and actually get to work on Sunday's adventure. I definitely need to work on it. I was scribbling notes on some scratch paper at work today, and I realized I left out a semi-important detail last week, just because I "winged" it. Dang. That'll teach me.
Well, off to work on things..
