...except for Ron Rhodes, since
rockcandy76 likes his karaoke.
However, this is NOT acceptable. Why do we always have to have these stupid "possiblity of rain changing to snow/sleet/freezing rain" predictions? Lemme tell ya something. It almost never does anything. When it does, it's pathetically short-lived. Let's see. Tomorrow and Friday, highs in the 30s. A week from that? Highs around 60. Heck, at the beginning of next week, we should see highs over 40. So, tell me, why do we listen to these imbeciles who claim there's going to be snow and such? Memphis doesn't get that crap, unless NO ONE sees it coming.
For reference, I submit, March 1968. Yes, it was before I was born. Both of my parents talk about that, though. How Memphis got a CONSIDERABLE snowfall amount for any month, let alone a month that usually sees warmer temperatures creeping back. (I've heard anywhere from 18 inches to three feet. But I believe the three feet comment was from my dad when he was in Tipton county, another 30-50 miles north of Memphis proper.)
*sigh* Okay.. I feel better. I had to get that out of my system.
