No, I'm not on milk cartons yet..

..though it sure seems like it at times, huh?

I've had a bunch of things going on since last I posted, and sadly, I've no time this morning for it, either. I'm not even sure what I last posted about, but I doubt I've mentioned this. The Kroger store that I work at, that's at Riverdale and Winchester in Memphis, is being closed. I don't have to worry about my job. Indeed, even if they hadn't assured us we'd have them, I've been getting calls about my skill at payroll. :) Right now, I hope to get on with my old manager's wife's store (she's CSM there). It's the one in Cordova on Houston Levee and Macon. It's kinda out there, but I wouldn't be going as far south, so I think the distance will work out. Plus, it's a nicer area of town.

Aside from there, I've been asked to go to the Summer Ave store and the store at Houston Levee and Winchester. I still don't know which I'd rather go to yet.

We're not closing until January, so I have time, I guess.

In other news, I really need to visit a doctor, but my lifelong fear of them has me too reluctant for my own good. I hope that things will get easier, since my mom's doctor is in-network for me, which I just found out. I'm glad he is, because she says he's a good one, and I recognize that I'm getting on in years, and need a primary care physician, even if I didn't need a doctor in a more immediate sense right now.

Well, enough gloom for now. I figure I'm going to get a bunch of replies to this entry as it is. :)
