This morning, I got to train one of our night accounting people in the morning close procedures, presumably because she'll be doing my job when I'm moved to the stock crew. Fortunately, I think she really has it down already, if she'd just realize that it's mostly the same as closing, but with some reports to print out.
Work wasn't bad today, but it wasn't noteworthy either.
...
However, I have noticed something that bothers me, just a little. Since I started playing WoW again, despite my desire to scale back how much I play, I have been slacking when it comes to making dinner. I still eat alright at work, mostly, but dinner around here has become a joke again. I think that WoW will have to have a "not until after dinner" rule, at least when I've been at work. While I'm having more fun than when I was last playing, I am not going to sacrifice all the good I've done for myself this month just for that fun. After all, it's a game.
In moderately good news, I'm up to 20 sit-ups, 20 jumping jacks, and 5 push ups* in one set. :-) It's still not a lot, but it's more now than I could do three weeks ago, so I feel like I have made SOME progress.
Well, I'm going to do SOME reading, but I think I'm going to go to sleep at 9pm tonight. Two people at work have pneumonia, and while I feel better than I have in a while, a lack of sleep will allow a disease to knock me out of commission in no time flat. (Clearly, a regular bacterial pneumonia wouldn't be contagious in the normal way, but I think it just illustrates the importance of staying healthy, more than anything else.)
Good night, folks.
*I'm weak, and it'll be a while before I can improve this one, unless I'm not worried about ruining my arms for the day, or something.
