I was off today. Slept in, made bed, did some laundry, paid bills, played WoW. Got to level 46 with Runningstar, but I'm broke now (2g 20s or so left). I might make it to 48 by the New Year.
In work news, I'm going to be the MIC (Manager in Charge) for most of my shifts next week. That means that I'm not going to be around in the afternoon, but that I'll make a little more money for doing it. Plus, as an added bonus, i get to wear a shirt and tie. (Speaking of ties, I got a present from a regular customer at my store. I highly suspect that it's a tie, but I refuse to open it until Christmas morning.*)
Two weeks from Saturday is my birthday. I've heard that my friends are planning something, but I don't know how extensive it is yet, or what. I should ask them about other folks being invited. I know some people who should come.
Love you guys. If you vanish over the weekend, let me say "Merry Christmas" to you now. ("Happy Hannukah" and "Yule Greetings" to those of you who'd expect such.)
* - No, I don't believe in succumbing to the commercialism of the holiday. However, given that I don't know the lady's name, and she only knows mine because of my name tag, I think it's safe to say that she didn't get something just because she felt she had to, and that it's heartfelt, not expensive. [Which is what matters most.] I think I'm going to type up something for my friends. I'm sure you'll see.
