0104: The End of the Road

Today, I bought a new trench coat. This is a major development. I have had the Bradley Jones 52L black trench coat since March of 1997. This thing has seen it all. I've had it through every car. I've worn it on countless cold nights out to see movies or hang with friends. I've torn it in numerous places, only to see it patched up again. Put simply: This is my security blanket.

..and I have to retire it. *sniff*

My new one is a Bill Blass 52L longcoat from Burlington Coat Factory. It's black. It fits me so damn well. I like it. I feel almost guilty

Now, I'm going to finish editing a spreadsheet that my old manager (who got transferred out to the Oakland, TN store just before Thanksgiving) wants me to fix for her. Heh, I'm still the "go to" man, even though I no longer work under her. That's a damn shame, too. She was the best manager I ever had. She has my loyalty, too.

Anyway, I better get to work on that. I want to play some World of Warcraft before I go to bed. Speaking of which, the plan to weed out the sub-level 30 toons blew up in a bad way. We already had someone who'd left to form his own guild, but another player left and started another guild, and my buddy Rick left and formed HIS own guild. I have toons in each guild, now. Runningstar (43 tauren druid) is in Clan Timberwolf still, but he's not an officer right now (I'd stepped down until strieson made up his mind about what to do with the guild, even though I now realize i was wrong to do so.) Drakmor (8 tauren warrior) is in Golden Legion, formed by the second guy to leave. Finally, Wildling (6 Undead Mage) is in Legion of the Dead, the guild that Rick started. I have the dubious honor of being an officer in each of those guilds. *sigh* I hope to do better with those than I did in Clan Timberwolf.

Now, to work...

For the first time, I just finished watching Fantastic Four. Great movie. I thought it was awesome. Now, it's no Spider-Man, but what really could be, ya know?
