TSO live kicks my ass, your ass, and yo momma's ass. :)
Seriously, I have never seen a show that was more visually engaging, or as creative, or as solidly fun. Sadly, since it was WRVR that pimped the show, a lot of people left during the show, because I imagine they expected classical music and such. To quote Stinko-man, Strongbad's anime alter-ego: "Ha ha ha.. You're so dumb."
A lot of people stayed, though, and I didn't hear anything negative at all. (Of course, halfway through the show, they finished the Christmas part, and did some normal stuff, such as Beethoven's Fifth, the classical song that was used in Apotheosis' "O Fortuna", and even some Led Zeppelin. God, the pyrotechnics, lasers, lighting, and sound were extremely well done. The fireballs, as well as the colored jets of flame (red, yellow, light blue, white) were an awesome touch, though I felt the heat from across the arena.
NOw, I must get to sleep, before I *REALLY* regret this. (No, I won't. But I'll wish I was dead in the morning. I still have work tomorrow.)
