So, I've mentioned my "friend from NJ" lately. Well, she's incredible. I actually secretly went to visit her. I told no one about it. Most people thought I was just hiding in my room those two days.
Well, she was even nicer in real life. I was so taken with her, that I proposed on the spot. She is so intelligent, graceful, dynamic, and wonderful, I couldn't bear the thought of another day without her. I didn't have a ring, nor could I afford one. So, I tore off part of my shoestring, and tied it around her finger. I've told her that I'll replace it as soon as I can, but she wants me to move up there first.
That's right. I'm uprooting my life, and heading up there. What can I say? How could I say no? This is what I have always wanted out of life, and I am not going to pass it up.
Right now, we're still deciding the best day to have it. We think that sometime shortly after I move up there would be best, but I gotta get things straightened up around here first.
Sorry, all, for not telling you sooner. You guys are the best, and I should have.
