More of the same yesterday. Nothing was particularly noteworthy, though I did butt heads with the co-manager over the could-care-less office worker we have. His response? "Fine. This is her last week in Guest Care." WTF?! I didn't mean that. I just didn't want her in Accounting. I said fine, though, and went back to try to figure out those reports that I thought I had figured out the day before yesterday.
He later explained that he didn't really want to bust her down to a checker, so we (Joyce and I) needed to explain how tenuous her hold on her current position is. Basically, scare her real good, but with a truthful possibility. That said, I'll probably be working 11-8 in Guest Care next Tuesday. *shrug* I guess it doesn't bother me, though, since it's a day I don't have to worry about opening.
I really hate trying to sleep right now. I don't know why, but I keep waking up every couple of hours. I try to moderate the temperature so that I'm comfortable, but I either find myself sweating, or freezing because the air conditioner has been turned down too far. I am still sleepy, even though I went to bed around 930pm. *sigh* At least this is my last day of the week. (Of course, with the way I do things, I'll just stay up until 2am tonight, and get up at 7am tomorrow. :-P)
We're just two little days away from our return to D&D gaming! On Sunday, we're going to pick the Caeln game back up, with the original group. Aric, Aza, Malachi, Osborn, and a couple of new faces will be back for action! I can't wait. :)
Alright, folks, I've got work today at the usual times, so wish me luck.
