Oooh.. Scary, scary! I'm updating. *sigh* I guess it's a sign that I'm getting out of the house more often, since I am rarely posting anymore. I both like this and dislike it. I am glad to be getting out more, since I have spent YEARS in front of my computer. On the other hand, I really like keeping a journal, not to mention the comments you wonderful people provide. (It's like having my own personal peanut gallery.)
At any rate, I've been busy, so I've been absent. I've been reading journals, but I haven't done any commenting, even when I thought I had something to say. Sad, huh?
I went walking/jogging that day with Charles & Melissa. It was a blast. We all went, and then showered when we got back. Feeling clean, and healthy, what'd we do? We barbecued boneless pork loin! :) The night was really fun, and we've been trying to do it again. (We're supposed to tonight, but I've yet to get ready. Don't worry - I will.) I was supposed to on Saturday, but I couldn't bring myself to go over there. It's not that I didn't REALLY want to, but I knew that if I went, it'd be around 7pm, and I'd wind up staying out really late.
Instead, Aron and I went to Brad's, talked Eberron, and watched his local redneck-teeny-bopper-college-type kids/"adults" act like you'd expect them too, including the requisite police visit. :) I got home WAY too late. I should have just gone to Charles'. I'd have been in sooner.
Sunday, I did my work as normal, left at noon, and went on over to Brad's for the game. I'd changed my mind about running a 7th level adventure, though. I had picked up the Eberron Campaign Setting from BookStar on Friday (they broke street date!), and instead ran a "get to know the setting and come up with an adventuring party" session. That didn't let out until late, though. Heather (Comic Cellar owner Jason's girlfriend) showed up, as she said she would, and came up with a Shifter Ranger. The final group looks like this:
Monday was the pits for me. I was exhausted, and it showed in everything I was and did. Fortunately, I fell asleep sitting outside watching the rain yesterday afternoon, and I went to bed a little earlier than normal. (Amazing how falling to sleep while reading will get you to sleep sooner. *wink*)
Today was better, but I was still tired. I suppose that I should really just go to bed, and not walk/jog***, but I want to, and I'll feel better after doing so.
I might just post again tomorrow. You never know. (Oh, and check out my new icons. This one is from the cover of Inkubus Sukkubus' "Beast with Two Backs" album.)
* - I know. "Why the quotes?" Well, I ain't givin' nothin' away, you hear!?
** - Rick wasn't actually there, but I know what he likes, and he likes barbarians. As for the warforged, it's too tough for him NOT to like.
*** - I call it that because there's no way I could just jog yet. I'd keel over dead. Trust me. :)

Rogue(/Swashbuckler)Fighter
EDIT: He changed his mind. A 15 DEX is "too low" to play a rogue. *rolls eyes* - Rodney - Halfling Cleric of the Sovereign Host from House Jorasco
- Heather - Shifter Ranger(/Weretouched Master)
- Rick - Warforged Barbarian**
