There's a little black spot on the sun, today..

Well, not now (more or less). But the transit of Venus across the Sun occurred during our night. It should have been visible in its last stages as East Coasters rose for the day. Sadly, I won't see it. I have to work, it's mostly cloudy, and I have no good observation site. :( Oh well, perhaps in 8 years.
