Hello there. Remember me? Yeah..
Anyway, to make a long post short, because I have to work first thing in the morning, I took last week off from posting on LJ because I was on vacation, and didn't do a SINGLE, SOLITARY thing that I didn't want to do. It was great. I still owe a post about the reception from my friends' - Charles and Melissa - wedding, and I will do that tomorrow afternoon. The basics of last week will fit into one post, and that will also be forthcoming tomorrow afternoon.
As for today, I hung around my room, rearranging the many books I have (and added to), until around 330pm. Then, I picked up Scott, and we hung out here until 6pm. Then, the two of us went to Hooters for dinner. I had hot hooters wings and beer. Scott grabbed a BBQ sandwich. Then we split another 10 piece, and got another pitcher of beer. Our waitress, Michelle, was hot, and Scott was convinced that she was flirting with me. Alas, I'm totally ignorant and incompetant regarding that. Of course, at Hooters, that's how they make their tips.
I dropped Scott off, by driving to Fayette county, and turning around. We were talking, and I totally missed the exit. It was fun, but melancholy. We talked about past loves, and things that you only tell another person when they've been drinking as much as you have.
I'm going to bed now, and I hope everyone's been okay. I've been reading, even if I haven't been commenting or posting.
