My alarm wasn't set this morning. Ironically and fortunately, I woke up at 422am, and looked at the time. Even more fortunately, I noticed something amiss with what I was seeing. I didn't see the telltale dot that indicates that my alarm is on. I had forgotten it. Well, since I was already awake, I got up and got ready. That's why I'm posting now.
Work is going to be interesting. Not only did I not really make ANY headway on that paperwork, I also suspect that Joyce is going to call in. Frankly, she better. She is deathly ill, and only came in yesterday because she "couldn't afford to miss any more". Her doctor was a quack, who asked her, "What can I do for you?" when she went to see him. People, you can TELL something's wrong. Her voice is EXTREMELY hoarse. Anyway, if she's not there, I'm going to get pestered by the manager to do the schedule. Not that I mind particularly, but he wanted hours cut, and I did so... by cutting help in the morning, since I could cover it. Thus, I can't leave the front end to do anything "extracurricular".
Well, I'll survive, but I might be ready to kill by the time I get home. I really should pay my insurance today, but I am going to put that off until tomorrow. It's not due for a few more days, anyway. (And I always pay it at their office.)
