Today was fairly tame. I was on time, and things didn't go too badly. The only thing that was bad was the fact that the morning UScan person we were expecting did NOT show. When we called her, she said that she wasn't scheduled. When told that she had BEEN told, and that the shift was written on the schedule, she kept saying, "It said I am off." I think she was still asleep, and unable to vocalize anything else. :)
So, I didn't go to lunch until 1230pm. I didn't get any reading done either, because Joyce went to lunch at about the same time. We talked for a while, and then I felt like dozing rather than reading. That didn't work either, since Brian, one of our produce guys, stopped at my table to say hello. They are supposed to be recording a demo this weekend, and marketing it to Island/Def Jam through their friends in Saliva. I wish them luck. Brian's band, Fulton's Point, are pretty good, and should get a break.
I left a little early because, well, I felt like it. Joyce didn't care, and I vamoosed before anyone could say anything. I've spent this afternoon playing Medievil (got through the Elemental Earth/Ant Hill level!!), reading your LJ entries, and wasting time in general. Dinner was a simple pair of peanut butter sandwiches.
I decided against writing a log for session 04 of Stephen's Stahl campaign. It's already 7pm, and I don't feel like spending the next hour working on it. I have GOT to get some sleep tonight, and the only sure way would be for me to actually go to bed at a decent hour. So, I'm going to read more in Arcana Unearthed, and catch some good Z's. Don't worry, though. I want to get them caught up sometime soon.
It's usually a good indication of my serious need for sleep, when I find myself wanting to go to bed before 8pm. I think I should follow up on that.
