I went to bed late last night. I read some more Love Hina before I went to sleep. I love that manga. It gives me an escape for a little while. Nothing major, mind you. It just got my mind off my computer. I woke up today, and built in the 10 or so mail rules I use in Outlook. This time, though, I exported them when I finished, so that I don't have to do it again. I haven't taken a look at Money yet, since that's what REALLY got me pissed last night, but I suspect that I'm going to uninstall it, purge my system of any traces, and attempt to get my floppy backup to read in Aron's computer.
I installed Secure CRT as well, since my friend Kevin has his old Amiga BBS back up and running on telnet. Yes, folks, Software Syntax, the BBS I helped run 10 years ago, is back online. Some of you already know this (
stormwind50,
xenoweeno), but I am happy enough about this that I'm mentioning it here. However, uploading still bites. I'm on broadband and Kevin's on broadband, yet the ZModem protocol that SecureCRT uses STILL only goes at a rate of 2.2K/s. Sheesh. :)
I'm going to clean my car out, find something more substantial for breakfast than a cup of coffee, and go to Comic Cellar later to play Warlord with
Alex,
Jason, and
Aron.
Before I do, though, I want to say one thing: I love you guys. After reading
rockcandy76's post about LJDrama.org, I decided to check it out. I never realized what people populate LiveJournal, and I am thankful to have such a group of caring, down-to-earth individuals with whom I share the boring details of my life. I always wanted a larger LJ Friend's List, but now I see that larger is not always better. I'm going to happily keep it at around this level. I am not going to remove anyone, but I think I'm going to quit adding people. If someone wishes to be my friend, then they can add me. Of course, I'll add them back. :)
See you people later, and pray that I can figure out why Money is acting all wonky with my Money file. (which represents around 10 hours of non-stop data entry - what a pain to reenter that info).
