...I just act that way.
Hello, all. I'm sorry for my absence this past couple of weeks, but moving seems to have knocked me out of the habit of posting to my LJ. I read everyone's comments, and I try to post new ones myself, but for making a real update, I'm woefully behind. I check my Friend's list daily, expecting someone to have removed me for lack of content. (Of course, in spite of this,
eliseth and
randomdenial00 added me. Welcome, y'all!)
These past two weeks have been relatively uneventful. I've gotten settled in, established routines, and generally gotten more rest than I ever did while still living at Kevin's. Thanksgiving rocked, as I've said. I've hung out with friends, I've cancelled my Sunday game for lack of time to plan, I've begun playing in a Shadowrun game on Sunday to pass the time until I'm ready to run my Silver Marches game again.
I've even been falling behind a bit on reading everyone's LJ. I always promise at this point to post more and so on. I'm not going to do that this time. Know this: I just updated my paid account for another two months, so you can rest assured that I'll be around for at least that long. (Who am I kidding, though? I love LJ!) I've just been busy. These past couple of Saturdays have found me painting game miniatures. Tuesdays have me going to a non-LJ friend's house. (No, there's no chance to talk her into it. I've already tried.)
For positive things, let's see..
Well, I wanted to let everyone know that I am still around. Those of you who have me on an Instant Messenger will have seen me on and off line all day. That's RoadRunner being wonderful and randomly taking my connection from me. *grunble* Good night, all.
Oh, and
wicked_wish? *I* would have loved that kitty. :) Glad you found it a home so quickly. :)

- Well, I took one of my floor lamps over to Scott's house so we have light when we game. Of course, I broke the other one in anger while having an argument with my mom. (For some reason, I tend to get very angry easily with her. I work at it, but it's as easy as breathing.) I'm working on my temper, too. This was the first major outburst that resulted in destruction of property in quite a while. Oh well, I have some anger issues. There's no doubt.
- I picked up Furst in the Wastelands: The Orcs of Tellene by Kenzer & Co. I love this campaign setting for D&D. Never have I seen anything with this obsessive attention to detail. The book looks real nice, and I can't wait to have a chance to read it. More irony: Despite that I love Kalamar, and I've owned the main sourcebook for it since July of 2001, I have never run it. *shrug* Weird, isn't it?
- I'm less than a month from a full week of vacation. Yes, it's true! It's true! I'm going to have a week to unwind and forget work. Ahh... I might even go on a small road trip. My friend mentioned Rock City, and that it's in Tennessee, but I don't know where. :-P Aside from that, I'm going to sit in front of this computer, and let my creative energies flow into my Silver Marches game. I need to work out details and such for when we pick it back up.
.. and we are picking it back up.
