Well, I didn't post yesterday, because as soon as I got home, I started loading boxes into the car. Yep, my room was done (or very close)!! I got the car as full as I could get it without hindering my ability to see, and drove to my mom's. I got there, and she was still hanging wallpaper. Ack! So, I helped her. The work progressed a lot faster, but geez, I now know where I get my negativity from. :) I kept being silly (only in words - can't hurt work that way), but she was STILL getting really upset anytime something like the wallpaper didn't fall straight or it got a little tear in it. I tell you, I had to stop once because it got to me.
Finally, we finished. I got there around 3pm, and, except for dinner, we didn't finish until 11pm. Actually, my mom didn't finish it. I got my little brother to help. You see, that's one thing that I'm relatively proud of about myself. I can watch someone doing something, and can usually start to emulate it thereafter. So, I hung about 25% of the wallpaper in my room. Heh, unfortunately though, I don't have anyone to blame. :)
After we finished, my brother and I moved my desk into the room. It has been in his room for about a year, and it was in my ex-roommate's garage for about 6 months before that. Yep, my absolute favorite desk in the world, and I only got to use it three months before having to put it in storage. That took me another hour and a half, and I had to make a few new holes for old braces, just because the ones they were in wore out. *rubs sore arms*
Fortunately, I got that together securely, and I just moved all those boxes into the room, and came home. Needless to say, I passed out. I'm not doing anything today, in part because I promised a friend 3 weeks ago we'd hang out today, and in part because, 3 tylenol taken at 6am aside, I'm still sore. :)
