I checked out Rawee's LJ this morning, and found...... another quiz! :) I promise to get around to replying to all comments, but I had to do this before I left for work.

You're a kind hearted person deep down but on the outside it doesn't really show. You don't have much confidence in yourself and you're ashamed of who you are... Cheer Up!

Whew!! Is this LJ thing busy! Tons of replies. Tons of things to read. How the heck do you people keep up with them all?! :)

Update on my day once I've shouted out to Reaibn.

P.S. If anyone has the lyrics to the song I've got listed, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE hook me up with them!! I've been looking forever!!

Okay.. today started pretty normal. Nothing too bad. I had to wait until I got to work to eat. (Bleh!) Of course, working in a grovery store's accounting office is kinda fun. I was eating my breakfast bar, drinking my juice, and jamming my European heavy metal. (If only the security cameras knew I was listening to Nightwish, then it wouldn't look like I was trying to have a seizure!!)

I got things finished. Good, right? To be honest, pretty much. However, I had reshop to do. You all have seen it: Those baskets of random, sometimes, broken stuff, that is at one end of the line of checkout registers? Well, they're very rarely truly broken. Most of the time, they're things that just need to be put back. Today, we had four baskets worth to do. Guess who did them all? Yep. Me. Once again, that's not so bad. Until you take into account that I walked almost constantly from 8am until I stopped at 1030am. 2.5 hours @ 3-4 miles an hour = the distance to my house from work. And I would NEVER willingly walk that! :)

Lunch went well. I ate. I read a little in my Silver Marches sourcebook. I napped for a bit. I got back, groggy and cranky because I napped, but not long enough. The second half (all 2 hours of it... I go to lunch late) went by quickly.

When I got home, though, whoa!! Was I in for a surprise!!! Kevin, my roommate, had RAZED the shrubbery outside the house!! Of course, we'd let it go, so it was kinda needed. But where there were plants, is now NOTHING!!! Hehehe.. Looks better, though. Now, we can attempt to keep it properly trimmed.

Oh, and tonight's game night. I get to play my Rog3/Ftr4/Duelist1.. He's a swashbuckling kinda guy, who's deadly with a rapier. Of course, he has a little brother adventuring with him, who's too cocky for his own good. I'll post more about this later.

This is a good time, though to point out that from here on, I'm going to preface the subject line of RPG session log posts with "RPG: ". It'll make it easier for those who just wanna read that to find it, and vice versa.

Until later, folks... I remain,
Anthony

I'm going to get my brother, so that we can play D&D tonight. Yay! Let's do it!! I wanna kill stuff. Nothing relieves stress quite like killing!!

More EuroMetal selections for you to wonder at. :)

Well... It's not as bad as all that, I suppose, but it sure feels that way at this point. I just found out that Brad, one of my good friends, will no longer be able to play in our Friday night 8th level game or the Monday night Return to the Temple of Elemental Evil game. With everyone else who's been dropping, that brings the Monday night game to an unplayable level. Only four people, and one of those might not be able to because of work, while another has a kid due to be born any day now.

I love that Monday night game, but it looks like those plans are getting shot to hell. Coming up with players isn't easy since our local game store closed. Besides, I've always preferred to play RPGs with people who are already my friends. It just feels weird to do it the other way, because I'm not that outgoing when I first meet someone. (Except on here.)

At this point, all it seems that I have to keep going is my campaign I'm running on Sundays. However, the one with the kid on the way is playing on Sunday, too. :(

Don't get me wrong, I understand why he'd have to quit, and I'm happy for him. That's that.

But...

I have gotten where my games are my social activity of the week. I work crappy hours at my job. I don't have a whole lot of spare funds. So, gaming provides me with both a social life (such as it is), and a way of enjoying myself without spending money. (Please, don't bring up the "but you buy game books more often than you should" line. I know. Believe me.) Without that, I have no idea what I'll do besides play video games, read books, and sit in my room when I'm not working. It can't come to that, can it?

Cross your fingers, ppl..
