RPG Update... After the game.

Well, the Friday game is over for this week. *sigh* I've got too much stress in my life right now. You would think that this is a perfect outlet. Well, not quite. I have some issues involving the game, and they carried over to my character this week. I lost control, and walked out. I'm not certain that I want to play this character anymore. I have to REALLY think about it. I have been so obsessed with the idea of taking the Loremaster prestige class that I never really gave much thought to the personality of this guy.

I can tell you he goes by "Drake".
I can tell you that he's a wizard.
I can tell you that he's a bit cocky.
I can't tell you what his likes are.
I can't tell you why he chose to be a wizard.
I can't tell you what he's going to do once he becomes a loremaster.

*sigh* Well, I'm going to go to bed. I need to get some rest, and before I ditch this character, I want to think VERY carefully about it. Don't worry. I'll keep everyone updated.

Is your roommate the one with all the video games? Steve was telling me about him.

Anyway, that's a rough situation, and I can certainly see why you'd get upset. My only advice would be to try and get him out of the house when you play. Give his girlfriend twenty bucks and tell her to go screw him behind an abandoned supermarket or something. Girls love money, and they love taking part in underhanded schemes even more.

Or perhaps you could make a big show about cleaning up before and after you play. While your group is there, call your roommate out in front of them and ask if the area is clean enough. Tell him that if you're getting too loud, he should come out and let you know, so you don't bother him. Don't do it sarcastically. Act like you really want to be a good roommate. This should be an embarassment to him, and he might leave you alone.

That's all I can think of.

>>Ask Stephen. He can explain it a bit
>>better in person, I'm sure.

Will do.

Those are REALLY good ideas. Especially the cleaning up one. I'll have to try that today.

Hopefully, Stephen filled in some gaps.

Nay.

I haven't talked to him in almost two weeks, other than the occasional LJ comment. But I will ask him his opinion on the whole thing next time I see him.

Cool.. It's really wacky. Someone in real life needs to explain it.
