While some of my fellow LJ people are seeing a bunch of the white wintery stuff, we in Memphis got...
... nothing worth mentioning. It dusted the grassy areas, but didn't harm traffic. It closed the schools early, but I bet the schools are open tomorrow. *shrugs* I'm just not impressed. Of course, I heard that it went further north than expected. So, as usual, northern Tennessee got the good stuff, and Memphis is left with the cold temperatures. For everyone out traveling in the stuff, if it's really coming down, be careful.
In other news, I've sworn to only play Everquest for at most four hours a day. After my marathon session on Tuesday ended with me injuring my left wrist, I decided I need to keep it sane. (For the record, I mapped the keys so that the movement keys match up with the default First Person Shooter keys - W,S,A,D for forward, backward, left, and right.)
This final notice is about books. First, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix is due out on June 21!! Yay!
Also, I am making steady progress through Crossroads of Twilight, but I have a ton of stuff to read. Next book on the pile: Four and Twenty Blackbirds, by the uber-talented Cherie, aka![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
wicked_wish. I gotta read it now. All your entries talking about the release party are driving me crazy. Sadly, I had a chance to be in Chattanooga on Tuesday and Wednesday. My friends were doing a raod trip, and saw Rock City, and the Tennessee Aquarium. I had to stay in town, and get my car to go through inspection. *grumble* If I had but known about the Chattanooga connection, and been able to work out my inspection, I woulda had to meet me some LJ peoples!!!!!
